Homeless prevention resources and emergency shelter 

If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless, support is available.

For emergency shelter or housing assistance, call 2-1-1 Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 4 p.m. ET:

  • Dial 2-1-1
  • Choose option 3 to speak with a trained specialist
  • If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or use TTY, call 1-800-671-0737

The specialist will ask questions to better understand your situation. They will try to identify options and resources that may help you avoid entering shelter.
