Affordable Housing Program (FLEX)

Tax credits for affordable housing

Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program
Investors and developers can apply for federal tax credits when they build affordable housing in Connecticut.

State Housing Tax Credit Contribution (HTCC) Program
Developers can receive state tax credits when they build very low, low, and moderate income housing in Connecticut.

Use this shared application to apply for State and federal funding to build affordable housing in Connecticut. This includes mortgages, grants, and tax credits. Both the Department of Housing and the CT Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) use the same form.
