• Empower Grant Initiative

  Support for small and medium-sized arts organizations that represent the diverse cultural expressions of all Connecticut state residents. The Connecticut Office of the Arts provides self-determined capacity building support to help grow organizations that have yet to receive meaningful levels of support.

• Creative Aging

  Engaging older adults in sequential arts activities with trained Connecticut teaching artists.

• Connecticut Arts Endowment Fund (CAEF)

  CAEF grants provide general operating support that arts organizations may use toward program­ming, administrative or operational costs, capital projects, equipment, or to build their own endowments. CAEF is currently closed.

• Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts

  Legal services, advice, and educational programs for CT artists and cultural organizations.

• Lifetime Achievement Award

  Honors an individual who has made sustained contributions of outstanding significance to and/or through the arts.

• Directory of Teaching Artists

  CT teaching artists reviewed for their excellence, readiness, capacity and desire to work in schools.

• Arts Learning - HOT Approach Implementation Grants CLOSED

  HOT Approach Implementation Grants are not being offered at this time.

• Emerging Creative Award

  This award highlights a breakthrough creative leader who is starting to blossom as an impactful and innovative contributor to the Connecticut art scene.

• If your COA-funded project or event happens during Coronavirus time

  If you have a COA grant to support a program or event taking place during this time of increased concern, be aware that COA will allow you to postpone and reschedule, and will if necessary extend the grant project period. Be sure to contact your program manager via email to alert them to the change.

• Grant Overview Guidelines

  These guidelines outline what is required of applicants by law and will help applicants understand the requirements before entering the COA funding process.
