Consumer Alert: AG Jepsen, DCP Advise Consumers with Delia's Gift Cards to Redeem Unused Balances Immediately
Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner William M. Rubenstein are advising Connecticut residents who may be holding gift cards, certificates or store credits to the retail establishment Delia's to use their gift cards as soon as possible. The company recently filed bankruptcy and has announced plans to close its stores by early next year.

Connecticut Officials to FERC: Rehear and Investigate Protests to ISO-New England Auction Results
State officials have asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to grant a rehearing of a notice issued last month that allowed ISO-New England's eighth forward capacity auction (FCA 8) results to go into effect without any determination that the auction results were just, reasonable and free from the exercise of market power.

Attorney General Jepsen: Deadline to File DRAM Settlement Claim is August 1
Attorney General George Jepsen is encouraging consumers to file claims to recover money from the $310 million Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) settlement before the quickly approaching August 1, 2014 deadline. Consumers can file claims to recover money due to the preliminary approval of multistate antitrust settlements with all the major manufacturers of DRAM for conspiring to fix their prices.

Attorney General Files Agreement to Revoke Pension of Former Winchester Finance Director
Under an agreement filed in Hartford Superior Court today, the former finance director for the town of Winchester who pleaded guilty to multiple felony larceny charges for stealing at least $2 million from the town will have his pension revoked, Attorney General George Jepsen said today.
